A native of Greater Boston, Tom began his municipal market career in 1994 at Merrill Lynch, where he was Senior Vice President in the Institutional Advisory Division. He has extensive experience working with insurance companies, mutual funds, bank trust departments and broker-dealers, as well as managing individual tax-exempt and taxable fixed income portfolios for high net worth individuals and families.

Tom holds a B.A. in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and an M.B.A. in Finance/Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Tom is a father of five children and resides with his family in Glencoe, Illinois.

Riverbend Capital Advisors has engaged Mike as an independent trading and investment consultant. Mike has more than 40 years of specific municipal bond market experience at various firms, including Van Kampen Merritt, Royal Bank of Canada and its predecessor firms, and Stifel Nicolaus. He has extensive experience working with both institutional and individual investors.

Originally from Central Illinois, Mike has lived in the Chicago area for the last 40 years. He has helped lead several fundraising efforts for a local high school and their athletic programs. He enjoys running, biking, and golf and staying involved with high school sports.

Mike has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois. He is the father of five children and resides in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Formerly with Guaranteed Rate Affinity in Chicago where she was Sales Assistant/Business Development Manager, Ioanna brings a wealth of experience in managing client relationships, communications, digital marketing and identifying business opportunities.

Prior to Guaranteed Rate, she held leadership roles at Sears Holdings and Performics/Google.

Ioanna received her B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago and resides in Glenview, Illinois with her family.

Originally from Wilmette, Illinois, Charlie is a graduate of Santa Clara University, earning his bachelor's degree in finance from the Leavey School of Business.

In his role at Riverbend, his responsibilities include assisting and processing trades, and supporting portfolio management through research and analysis.

Beyond his professional skills, Charlie is a passionate tennis and pickleball player. He's also an avid reader, particularly drawn to biographies.
